OpenBase used to provide a plugin, but they no longer support it because it was never updated for Universal Binaries, among other things I imagine. The difference is that with a plugin you could use the standard REALbasic database programming API. Using their Connectivity Module, you have to use a similar, but still slightly different, programming API. I hope this helps.
